About Pawcific Northwest
Pawcific Northwest Dog Training is a private, behavior-based training and coaching practice focused on respect and understanding for canine body language, communication, and biology, with the goal of strengthening and deepening the bond between dog and human.
With over a decade of experience and education in dog behavior, trainer Jenny Quintero uses a balanced variety of dog training techniques to build basic obedience, confidence in navigating everyday life, respect in pack dynamics (multi-dog households or dog daycares), and harmonious canine-human relationships built in mutual trust. Jenny specializes in rehabilitating reactive and fearful dogs, but her philosophy of compassion and scientifically informed understanding of dog behavior benefits every dog under her care.
Beyond dog training, Jenny also provides support and education for shelters, rescues, dog daycares, and boarding facilities by developing training and boarding programs, and training staff on dog behavior.
About Jenny
Jenny grew up surrounded by dogs, with an average of six dogs at a time sharing her childhood home. Jenny was especially inspired by her grandfather who interacted with the animals in their home with calm and respect, often having entire conversations with their dogs in almost complete silence. Her professional journey as a dog trainer began in 2014 when she managed a dog daycare in downtown Burien, Washington, where she discovered she loved helping reactive and anxious dogs gain the necessary skills and confidence to attend daycare and boarding facilities. This rapidly grew into helping rescued dogs from the shelter next door transition into their new adopted homes and settle into peaceful coexistence.
Jenny has taken multiple courses in training and behavior and prioritizes building her education in dog behavior to this day, both to better serve her canine clients and to better pass along beneficial knowledge to owners and fellow trainers. She continues to exemplify her commitment to meeting each unique dog and their owner where they are and achieving goals based on their individual needs.
In her free time, Jenny loves roaming around outside and taking it easy with her personal pack of pups.

"Pawcific NW Dog Training has been a God send to our family. Our fur baby, Gus, is a pound rescue and although very friendly, was basically untrained and free spirited. Jenn was able to socialize him and make him understand his role in our family pack. Gus now is safe to run free on our large property without wandering away. He enjoys his visits to Jenn's pack and always has a great time."

"Jenny was a life saver for us. Both of our girl Aussies desperately need socialization skills. One was very skiddish and the other cranky. Neither liked each other. Due to an emergent family situation Jenny was willing to take both dogs and work with them. Miracles do happen! Both girls came home as friends with manners and much easier to be around. Jenny has had our girls on several different occasions and girls will continue to be schooled with Jenny. And, we now have #3 for Jenny to work with."

"My experience with Jenny and Pawcific Northwest Dog training has been exceptional. As a dog breeder it is wonderful to work with a trainer who meets you, and your pets where you are. A trainer who listens to your needs and concerns, and works with each pup as a individual, diagnosing their personal needs. She has worked with all of my my dogs and many of our puppies who have gone to homes locally . Working with a trainer is so important, from basic skills, to difficult behaviors. I highly recommend Jenny to any and all who are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate and caring trainer."
